“One of our attorneys met with a client who had received a traffic ticket in Kentucky about ten years ago. The client was a commercial truck driver. The traffic ticket was miscoded in the system, and the miscoding prevented the client from receiving a Georgia driver’s license. The client has been unable to find any other work and has been homeless for some time. He told us that if he just had a driver’s license, he could be employed in a day! We worked tirelessly with the Kentucky DMV to correct the miscoding, and were able to resolve the issue. The client is now able to get a Georgia driver’s license. We are hopeful this is a first step in the right direction for our client.”
